I wanted to share some of the images and series from my current “No-Comply” exhibition.
This collection is titled:
MAGAZINE STREET COLLECTION
This series is was inspired by the May 1965 cover of LIFE magazine. It featured female pro skateboarder Pat Magee. I reimagined a few other covers from her historic cover story.
GLOBAL WARMING - when I first saw the photos of Ethiopian Women on skateboards I was happily overwhelmed. I stared at those pics for what seemed like hours. The colors, the style, the smiles. Beyond Dope! I don’t think the sun could have warmed my heart more that day. Inspiring is an understatement.
