Back in the day in New Orleans most neighborhoods had a candy lady. She would trap candy, cookies and sweet treats right from the crib. No sign, no advertisement, no hours, just word of mouth. My favorite was a pineapple frozen cup with fruit @ the bottom. Turn that thang upside down and I was the happiest kid on Flood St.
