Artist: Lionel Milton

Coming from a city known for jazz and a rich gumbo of culture, New Orleans artist Lionel Milton has become a well-recognized figure by companies and collectors throughout the country who seek his artistic style that uniquely and vibrantly demonstrates a raw urban energy with ubiquitous appeal and broad demographic charm.

Drawn to his distinctive style and its unique influences, Lionel has attracted media companies such as MTV and BET that use several of his original pieces for their television programming décor. Additionally, national consumer brands such as Disney, Target, Budweiser and Atronic have employed his designs for children's clothing and bedding, character development and promotional materials.

The Make it Right Foundation, Spearheaded by Brad Pitt commissioned Lionel to create the merchandising artwork for the “Pink Project”. The proceeds go to the future of rebuilding homes in the Lower Ninth Ward New Orleans. Lionel also creates the Annual Voodoo Experience poster as well as the ESSENCE Music Festival Posters of 2008.

Lionel's latest venture is with Sony Playstation 3. He has been commissioned to design a level for the new video game release of Little Big Planet.” Being and artist and a serious gamer Little Big Planet is the ultimate game to explore my creativity and get my game on at the same time.
